Chalia Background. Fleeing a fail attempt by her house to advance, 12 year old Chalia was left behind at Assur after her parents boat made shore and vanished. Finding work as a dish washer, to feed herself she slowly made her way to waitress. The tavern didn’t care if she was hassled by the customers as long as she collected the money. Finally finding a staff member that could handle orcs, goblins, kenku and other devious clients, it was a sad note when they learned she had joined the militia. A Tiefling now has the job as waitress, following Chalia move up from dishwasher. Chalia again starting as a trainee, she held her tongue and advanced when other students failed, sometimes with a little help. Making it to actual guard statues was a big success. She went on patrols, guarded walls towers, but never the merchant guild members. Those cushy indoor jobs went to the pretty human and elfish girls, Chalia was too scary. Finally a training sergeant job opened, and Chalia jumped at the chance to lead a squad. Pulled out after a month of duty to track down caravan 3, she found the goblins sitting by a fire, eating Oxen, and hoarding the trade goods. Solving that problem she returned, and now leads the six caravan out into the wilderness. But first to deal with the goblins that escaped and returned to Assur.
